How much time is actually spent using Facebook apps?
Comscore’s latest study on user activity on Facebook shows a meagre 10% of time is spent on Facebook Apps. With the overwhelming success of the most popular Facebook games (Farmville et al), one would have thought that people spend their entire days engaged in gaming applications, but the reality is totally different. 27% of time is spent on the news feed, 21% looking at other people’s profiles (Really!), and another 17% spent looking at photos … I am among those who use VERY few (or none at all) Facebook apps, but I always try not to judge based on my own behaviour … 😉
