Social Media growth (2011-2015), according to Forrester:
I always wondered what numbers analysts hide. Even if social media doesn’t experience such major growth in the next five years – because, according to Forrester, mobile’s growing faster – the growth will clearly be significant. There’s a lot more hype for social media than say, email marketing or search advertising.
Because social media is a lot more than online advertising. Just as the concept of business 2.0 is much bigger than just “a part of” business, in general. And putting the social customer at the heart of the organisations will require a lot more than 1.5 million dollars in US social media agency fees by 2016.
Anyway, I am grateful to Forrester for their efforts in making projections.
Not so simple indeed.
